About Tommy DiNic’s

Located at 51 N 12th St, Philadelphia, PA 19107, Tommy DiNic’s operates as a burger serving Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under takeout restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Philadelphia will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in Pennsylvania usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.

Hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 AM–5 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Tommy DiNic’s at (215) 923-6175; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is tommydinics.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 1,157 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Philadelphia peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I got the Italian Style Pulled pork sandwich plain. The meat was somewhat bland. I could've gotten the greens and cheese, but that wouldn't improve the meat. The deli right across from them had a Reuben that looked better.

Bitter and stinky feet notes are mainly what you'll get against some flavorless shaved pork. I wanted to love it. Wanted my husband to love it and trade me his food from somewhere else. He similarly frowned and we, despite never doing this, tossed perfectly edible food. It was too hard to eat. It needed salt, acid, and a better balance on the bitterness and cheese. Bread was also not at all crispy or fresh. Just tasted like cheap sub rolls that couldn't hold up to the juice of the sandwich.

We made a quick stop at Reading Terminal Market for lunch and couldn't help but notice the line wrapping around the corner for Tommy DiNic's. That's always a good sign, and even with the long line, the ordering process moved quickly. We ordered the Roast Pork with Broccoli Rabe Wet, and we're glad we did. The extra jus kept the sandwich moist and added a lot of flavor. I would definitely recommend ordering it "wet." We also tried the brisket sandwich. While it wasn't our favorite compared to the roast pork, it gave us the chance to try another one of their offerings. Overall, the roast pork is the reason to visit, and it's easy to see why Tommy DiNic's is one of the most popular spots in Reading Terminal Market.

Had to try the famous pork with broccoli rhab. It was OK. Not a huge fan. Maybe its me who just isn't pumped about pork. Would much rather have another cheesesteak.

Almost missed this place because pictures looked a bit severe but the peppers and cheese really made the sandwich stand out! Provolone was sharp and mature and pulled the relatively flavourless pork together. The peppers gave me something to fight against as I ploughed through the soggy bread and colourless hanks of pork that could’ve done with some seasoning Will come back but swap out the meat Sandwich overall could look more client ready
